  1. ADVERTISEMENT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Sealed Proposals shall be received by the City’s e-Procurement website bidsandtendersTM for the above referenced RFP before 3:00 PM EDT local time, Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Interested parties shall submit packages to: https://www.tamarac.org/bids for the following project:

 

DESIGN/BUILD SABAL PALM PARK PROJECT

 

The City of Tamarac is seeking to engage qualified firms to submit proposals for the Design/Build of the Sable Palm Park Project.  The proposed project site is approximately an 8 acres lot located at Sable Palm Ave., Tamarac, Florida 33321. The proposed elements include native landscaping on at least 30% of the site, an 8 foot concrete multi-use path with one (1) central covered fitness station (with 10 pieces of equipment), an approximate 1200 SF restroom/storage facility with concession area, a 6,000 SF playground with maximum number of play equipment including safety surface and shade structure, 2,500 SF splash pad, two (2) large picnic shelters (2,600 SF rectangular & 36 feet hexagonal), a multi-purpose rectangular field, multi-purpose bleachers (6 EA), a basketball/pickleball court, a dog park, on-site parking area, perimeter fencing, irrigation & landscape improvements, lighting, video surveillance, and security system, Wifi, and fiber network infrastructure.

 

The work includes all professional services, labor, equipment, materials, insurance, obtaining all applicable permits, necessary supervision, and incidentals to complete the project as specified herein. All proposed work shall be completed in accordance with the project documents, plans, details, technical specifications / scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements.

 

A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the via Microsoft Teams at the link shown on the cover page of the solicitation.

 

City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Proposals received, to re-advertise for Proposals, to award in whole or in part to one or more Proposers or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
