Sealed Bids, addressed to the Sr. Procurement Specialist of the City of Tamarac, Broward County, Florida, will be received electronically via the City’s encrypted procurement management system, bids&tendersTM until 3:00 PM local time, October 8, 2024 for: MAINLANDS OF TAMARAC SECTIONS 8,9,10,15 & COMMERCIAL BLVD. PAVEMENT RESURFACING and WESTLAKE and SPRING LAKE II COMMUNITY SPEED HUMP INSTALLATION PROJECT The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting Bids from qualified Contractors for the construction of Mainlands of Tamarac Sections 8,9,10,15 & Commercial Boulevard Pavement Resurfacing and Westlake and Spring Lake II Community Speed Hump Installation Project. The project is located within the Mainlands of Tamarac Sections noted above and the Commercial Boulevard Westbound between Pine Island Road and Nob Hill Road and also includes the installation of two speed humps at Westlake and Spring Lake II Community within the City of Tamarac. The work shall include, but not be limited to milling existing asphalt surface, surface preparation, sanitary manhole, catch basin, and water valve adjustments, key cuts tie-ins with existing asphalt, speed hump installation and driveway connections, tack coat application, asphaltic concrete leveling and surface course placement, and temporary and permanent pavement marking applications, in accordance with the technical specifications, design plans, and all applicable federal, state, county and local regulations. Leveling Course quantities have been added to this project to address any irregularities in the existing pavement by adjusting final/finished grades as needed to alleviate pavement distortions, standing water issues, adjustments for valve boxes, manhole and drainage inlet rim elevations, and to provide continuous positive drainage. Existing pavement markings will be required to be reestablished in their original locations once the new asphalt surface course is established. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, manufactured articles, furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, essential communications, etc., as necessary to complete the project, as indicated in the Special Conditions, Special Provisions, Project Design Plans, Technical Specifications and Bid No. 24-25B as may be included in documents herein, along with all engineering, shop drawings, and other documentation necessary to obtain all applicable permits and all bonds, securities, licenses and insurance to complete the project as specified herein and within the Project Design Plans. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project bid documents, design plans, details, technical specifications/scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county and local regulatory requirements. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, September 19,2024 @ 10:30AM Eastern Local Time via Microsoft Teams at the link shown on the cover page of the Bid Document.
