The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting Bids, from Qualified Contractors, for the construction of the City of Tamarac, Fire Station No. 15 Pre-Emption Emergency Vehicle Signal System Project. The project consists of constructing a complete Pre-Emption Emergency Vehicle Signal System for the City of Tamarac’s Fire Station No. 15, located at 6000 Hiatus Road, Tamarac, Florida, 33321. The work shall include, but not limited to, verification of existing utilities and drainage facilities, clearing and grubbing, concrete removal, concrete curbing, concrete sidewalk and driveway restoration, the construction of substructures that will support mast arms, complete mast arm and signal systems, installation of new pavement markings and signage, trenching, directional boring, electrical conduit and component  installation - both to the interior and exterior of the fire station, earthwork, landscaping and sod restoration. The Contractor must perform these services in the City of Tamarac, Florida in accordance with applicable, Federal, State and local regulations and in accordance with the project design plans, as prepared by McMahon Associates, Inc.

**NOTE** This is a Broward County Mobility Advancement Program Project with a goal for Certified Broward County Business Enterprises (CBE) participation of Thirty percent (30%) of the value of the project. Bidders will be required to submit information with their response detailing their ability to meet this goal. (See the Broward County Mobility Advancement Program Project Exhibit included with the bid document for more information.)  The awarded Contractor will also be required to utilize the Broward County Workforce Investment Program upon award of contract.
