ALL QUALIFIED BIDDERS: ITB NO. 25-24B WESTWOOD BLVD EAST ROADWAY AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting bids, from qualified contractors, for the construction of the Westwood Blvd East Roadway and Drainage Improvement Project (ITB No. 25-24B). The project is located along Westwood Blvd. East, from McNab Road to NW 94th Avenue (see Attachment A – Location Map), in Tamarac, Florida. The work shall include, but not be limited to, site preparation, replacement of the existing asphaltic concrete pavement section with Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) with hot mix asphalt pavement, milling and resurfacing, roadway restoration, installation of drainage improvement systems including HDPE pipe, drainage structure and associated installation work, concrete sidewalk replacement with ADA ramps, pavement markings and signage, restoration, speed humps installation, concrete curbs and gutter valley installations, swale restoration and all other associated improvements required for the completion of the project. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the project, as indicated in ITB No. 25-24B, Contract Documents, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Technical Specifications. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, @ 10:00 AM Eastern Local Time via Microsoft Teams at the link shown on the cover page of the Bid Document. Please note that this meeting will be recorded and uploaded to Bids&Tenders but it is highly encouraged that all parties interested in bidding on this project should try to attend this meeting. To join the Microsoft Teams meeting by telephone, use the dial in information on the cover page. Sealed Bids must be received electronically via the City’s encrypted procurement management system, bids&tendersTM on or before 3:00 PM Eastern Local Time, Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Any Bids received after 3:00 PM on said date will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a Bid is received will be resolved against the Bidder. Local Tamarac Vendors, Broward County Certified Business Entities, Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, Veteran-Owned and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to award in whole or in part to one or more Bidders or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
