ALL QUALIFIED BIDDERS: NOB HILL & HAITUS ROAD CANAL CULVERT GATE & ALUMINUM HEADWALL IMPROVEMENT
The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting bids, from qualified contractors, for the construction of the Nob Hill & Hiatus Road Canal Culvert Gate & Aluminum Headwall Improvement (ITB No.26-28B). The work shall include, but not be limited to, verification of existing utilities and drainage facilities, clearing and grubbing, concrete removal, concrete curbing, concrete sidewalk and driveway restoration, removal and installation of new paver bricks, installation of new pavement markings and signage, trenching or directional boring, electrical conduit and component installation, earthwork, landscaping and sod restoration. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete this project, as indicated in the Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Technical Specifications herein and within the project design plans.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 @ 10:00 AM Eastern Local Time via Microsoft Teams at the link shown on the cover page of the Bid Document. Please note that this meeting will be recorded and uploaded to Bids&Tenders but it is highly encouraged that all parties interested in bidding on this project should try to attend this meeting. To join the Microsoft Teams meeting by telephone, use the dial in information on the cover page of the Bid Document.
Sealed Bids must be received electronically via the City’s encrypted procurement management system, bids&tendersTM on or before 3:00 PM Eastern Local Time, Wednesday, April 22,2026. Any Bids received after 3:00 PM on said date will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a Bid is received will be resolved against the Bidder. Local Tamarac Vendors, Broward County Certified Business Entities, Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, Veteran-Owned and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to award in whole or in part to one or more Bidders or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
