ADVERTISEMENT INVITATION TO BID (ITB) 25-07B The City of Tamarac is hereby requesting Bids, from qualified Contractors, for the construction of the 94th Avenue Crosswalk and Roadway Drainage Improvement Project. The project is located along NW 94th Avenue from Commercial Blvd to approximately 186 feet north of NW 93 Terrace (see Attachment A – Location Map), in Tamarac, Florida. The work shall include, but not limited to, site preparation, installation of drainage improvements within proposed medians, including infiltration trench pipe, drainage structure and associated work; installation of two (2) raised brick paver crosswalks with approach ramps, truncated dome ADA ramps, medians, milling and resurfacing at NW 94th Avenue including modifications to existing bike lanes, pavement markings, new landscaped improvements at medians, and irrigation system modifications; all electrical infrastructure and service connections, coordination with FPL for service tie-ins, & meter set need to power and operate new lighting for proposed landscaped medians; site restoration, concrete curbs, turf block & brick paver installations, and all other associated improvements required for the completion of the project. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the project, as indicated in the Contract Documents, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications and Bid No. 25-07B Documents attached herein. All proposed improvements shall be completed in accordance with the project plans, project bid documents, design plans, details, specifications, scope of work and all applicable, federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 @ 10:00AM Eastern Local Time via Microsoft Teams at the link on the front page of the solicitation. Please note that this meeting will be recorded and uploaded to Bids&Tenders but it is highly encouraged that all parties interested in bidding on this project should try to attend this meeting. Sealed Bids must be received electronically via the City’s encrypted procurement management system, bids&tendersTM on or before 3:00 PM local time, Thursday, January 30, 2025 . Any Bids received after 3:00 PM on said date will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a Bid is received will be resolved against the Bidder. Local Tamarac Vendors, Broward County Certified Business Entities, Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, Veteran-Owned and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. City reserves the right to reject any or all Bidder, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to award in whole or in part to one or more Bidders or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
