DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE 57^TH STREET CORRIDOR INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The City of Tamarac is seeking to engage qualified firms to submit their qualifications (RFQ’s) to provide professional engineering services for the design, construction specification, permitting, bidding assistance and construction administration services for the NW 57^th Street Corridor Infrastructure Improvement Project in accordance with the requirements of the Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA) F.S. 287.055. The project site is located on NW 57^th Street, between Pine Island Road and University Drive, Tamarac, FL 33321, which includes approximately 5,200 LF of a 106’ wide City of Tamarac Public Right-of-Way.

The scope encompasses comprehensive civil engineering and streetscaping design, construction specifications, permitting, bidding assistance, and construction administration services for the NW 57th Street Corridor Infrastructure Improvement Project.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM EST via Microsoft Teams at the link provided on the front page of the RFQ document. It is also possible to join by phone by calling 954-289-2459,,93959217#.  Please note that this meeting will be recorded and uploaded to Bids&Tenders but it is highly encouraged that all parties interested in submitting an RFP for this project should try to attend this meeting to address questions.

Sealed Proposals must be received and through the City’s electronic procurement platform on or before the date and time referenced above. Any Proposals received after 3:00 p.m. on said date will not be accepted under any circumstances.  Any uncertainty regarding the time a Proposal is received will be resolved against the Proposer. Official time will be measured by the time stamp in the Purchasing Office.

The City’s solicitation management system will not accept electronic responses after 3:00 p.m. with no exceptions.  Any uncertainty regarding the time a submittal is received will be resolved against the submitting vendor. Proposer shall be required to register with bidsandtenders^TM at www.tamarac.org/bids to obtain access to the proposal documents and submit their electronic response.  Additionally, all written inquiries shall be submitted through bidsandtenders^TM, and all written addenda shall be communicated through bidsandtenders^TM as well. For questions regarding any procurement function of the process, contact the Purchasing & Contracts Division Office at (954) 597-3570.
